My Anxious Dog
I have been an advocate for dogs in yellow for years now since my own dog Rosie became dog selective.
It can be really hard to own a dog that struggles, who can go over threshold easily, who barks & lunges at other dogs or humans.
As their guardians, it is up to us to help them navigate the world in the best way possible. Although wearing yellow gear won't change their behaviour (only training will help with this), it does act as a signal to other owners that your dog needs a little more space. Think of it like a lighthouse beacon, something that stands out and shines for others to see so they can help you on your journey with your dog.
Dogs in yellow

I am so excited & proud to announce that I am now an official partner of My Anxious Dog, an incredible haven of support and mine of useful products for owners of anxious, nervous and reactive dogs.
Not only does My Anxious Dog make space awareness products such as yellow dog leads, harnesses, rain coats and lead covers but they’re also on a massive mission to educate the public on what to do when they see a dog in yellow – a mission that many of you will know is one that I’ve been on for a while now!
The yellow army is a collective of people who are joining forces to spread the word, raise awareness and make sure that our anxious and reactive dogs get the space they need.
Through awesome awareness-raising campaigns, we will make sure that everybody knows what to do when they spot a dog in yellow!
Browse their range of space awareness products via the link below, and get your dog the space and distance they need, so you can walk together carefree. 👇
