Effortless Ways To Make Money On The Side

Start subsiding your income and make some lazy cash on the side! Here are some effortless money makers!

Get paid for your opinions!

Inbox Dollars pays you to watch TV. Once you sign up, they give you a $5 bonus just for signing up! Navigate to the TV tab, watch some TV and at the end of a few short segments there will be some scratch off cards. Just scratch and win! There’s a $30 cash out minimum, but it’s so quick and mindless that it’ll add up before you know it.

Survey Junkie and Vip Voice pay you to share your opinions. You’ll get paid to answer questions. Most pay $1 or $2 and take about 10 minutes to complete.

Swagbacks is popular because the questions are really easy, and although you won’t qualify for all the surveys you can average about $5 for 30 minutes.

PineCone has no cash out minimum, so you can claim your cash after every survey you take. The surveys pay $3 each.

Vox Pop Me is a simple way to make money by expressing your views on products you’re familiar with. (i.e., your cell phone, the potato chips you buy.. why do you choose to buy that certain brand? Is it simply because of the price or did the commercial sway your opinion?) It’s free to sign up, just put in your paypal information and answer a few questions. Then depending on your gender or area you live in, they will customize the questions they’ll ask you to answer. In my experience, most questions pay 50 cents, some were $5 but I have gotten FOUR in a row that paid $15! That’s $60 for a quick 15-60 second video review!

There are TONS of other survey companies out there, here a few more:

Clear Voice Surveys, Product Report Card, Survey Club, Survey Spot, Harris Poll Online, Pro Opinion, Opinion Outpost, Ipsos i-Say

Micro Investing Accounts!

Stash gives you a $5 bonus when you sign up. You can set up your account to automatically deposit money from your account, like $5 each week.

Acorn is great because you set up how much you’d like to have deducted from your checking account each month and how aggressively or conservatively you’d like to invest. It’ll round up all of your transactions, for example if you buy a coffee for $2.50, Acorns will round that to $3.00 and invest the 50 cents.

Micro Investing Accounts are great because the amount is little enough to not notice it taken away from your checking account but enough for it to start accumulating! It’s a great set-it-and-forget-it type of way to make money.

Get paid to shop!

Drop is a financial tech company that rewards you for purchases you already make such as grocery shopping, getting gas, ordering a pizza or an uber. All you do is link your credit or debit card, and when you make a drop-qualified purchases you’ll gain points that you can later cash out for gift cards.

eBates is an instant rebate app and gives you money back for the shopping you do anyways!

Shopkick is a fun way to earn extra money. Gain points by walking into certain stores, scanning your receipts, scanning items in a store, shopping online, etc. It’s like a scavenger hunt! Personally, I set my “prize” to be a Starbucks gift card because when you cash out your points it’s $5 so I quickly add it to my Starbucks card and get a free drink with that!

Paribus is a tool that gets you money for your online purchases. If something you buy online drops in price after you buy it, Paribus will refund you the difference. Don’t delete your emails! That’s how they track your purchases.

Get paid for the pictures you’ve taken!

Sell your photos with Foap. It’s simple, you upload a photo to the app and someone buys the license to your photo for $10 and you make $5.

Get paid to save money!

Wise Banyan is a financial app that helps you save money. You get $20 for joining and $20 for every person who joins with your referral link.

Get paid to declutter!

Sell your old books or textbooks on Bookscouter! Just type the book’s ISBN into the search bar and the site will automatically connect you to over 20 of the best paying backpack companies.

You can sell almost anything on Letgo and Offer Up! From your old purse or electronics to furniture. It’s free to sign up and best of all, it’s free to sell- No fees! The whole process of selling something can take about 30 seconds, how easy is that? You snap a picture or upload one from your phone, put a title, a description, and how much you’d like to sell it for!

Get paid to lose weight! Seriously …

Healthy Wage is a program that allows you to place a bet on your weight loss. It’s simple, you just come up with a goal weight and now long you’re going to give yourself to get there. Let’s say you want to lose 5 pounds in a month. Then place a bet ranging anywhere from $20-$500 a month.

Achievement is another app that pays you to complete healthy activities. You can easily connect the app to other Fitness apps such as Fitbit, Health Kit, My Fitness Pal, or any other app you already use to track your fitness goals. You’ll get points for hitting your step count or completing other goals you have. After you have 10,000 points you can cash out for a $10 amazon gift card.

Get paid to not do anything … literally.

These companies pay you to install these apps onto your phone, tablet, or computer to help them collect data and better understand web and mobile usage such as what time do most people search the internet and how long they stay on a certain website, etc.

Nielsen Panel will pay $50 a year to simply keep their software on your computer and search the web as usual.

Savvy Connect will pay you $5 per device for each month their app is installed.

Get paid to blog!

Listverse

They’ll pay you $100 if they decide they like your post. Make a list of at least 10 things, with one or two paragraphs per item explaining why that item is included in your list. Also be sure to add links to viable sources so they can verify your facts.

Get paid for your junk mail/email!

SBK Center will pay you a visa gift card for your junk mail/emails. They only take mail or emails from companies that sent something directly related to you, such as insurance, online retailers, pet stores, travel, etc.
